Isn't this just compliance theatre?

EU AI Act Article 4 has applied since February 2025 and, since July 2026, requires organisations to take measures that support the AI literacy of staff using AI systems. That is a legal duty, not a recommendation, and regulators can ask what those measures were. Keypra produces that evidence — per-user training records, competence scores, and date-stamped audit trails — so compliance teams have something defensible to hand to a DPA.

What does the EU AI Act actually require?

Article 4, as amended in July 2026 by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, requires providers and deployers of AI to take measures that support their staff's AI literacy, taking into account technical knowledge, experience, education, and the context the AI is used in. It does not require a guaranteed level for each person. Article 13 requires transparency for high-risk systems.
