Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

Keypra OÜ is committed to making the Keypra web application and public website usable by the widest possible audience, including people who rely on assistive technologies. We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance as our internal target.

2. European Accessibility Act — micro-enterprise position

Directive (EU) 2019/882 (the "European Accessibility Act" or "EAA") became applicable on 28 June 2025. The EAA exempts micro-enterprises providing services (Art. 4(5)) — defined under Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC as undertakings with fewer than 10 employees and an annual turnover or balance sheet total not exceeding €2 million.

Keypra OÜ currently meets that threshold and therefore relies on the micro-enterprise services exemption. We disclose this position openly rather than treating it as an implicit assumption. Keypra applies WCAG 2.1 AA as an internal target regardless of the exemption.

Review trigger. If Keypra OÜ exceeds 10 employees or €2 million in turnover for two consecutive financial years, the exemption falls away and Keypra will publish a full EAA conformance assessment, designate accessibility-conformance responsibilities under Art. 13, and update this page accordingly.

3. Standards we work to

• WCAG 2.1 Level AA (W3C Recommendation) as the primary target for the web application and public site.
• EN 301 549 v3.2.1 as the reference for ICT-product accessibility requirements relevant to web content.
• Native semantic HTML, ARIA only where semantic HTML is insufficient, keyboard reachability for all interactive elements, visible focus indicators, and 4.5:1 minimum colour-contrast for body text.

4. Known limitations

We test the most-trafficked surfaces against WCAG 2.1 AA but the product is evolving. Known areas where conformance is partial and being worked on:

• Complex interactive surfaces such as the Research Canvas (spatial graph), Workflow Builder, and live Classroom slides rely on pointer interactions; keyboard-only equivalents are incomplete for some advanced gestures.
• Some marketing illustrations and decorative animations may lack descriptive alternative text where the content is conveyed elsewhere on the page.
• AI-generated images shipped inside slide decks are labelled as AI-generated (see AI Content Marking) but author-supplied alt text may be missing on user-generated slide imagery.

We treat keyboard navigation, focus management, screen-reader compatibility, and colour contrast on essential flows (sign-up, authentication, billing, settings, privacy controls, prompt composer) as priority surfaces.

5. How to report an accessibility issue

If you encounter content or a flow on Keypra that is inaccessible to you, please tell us. We treat accessibility reports as priority bugs.

• Email privacy@keypra.com with the subject tag [ACCESSIBILITY].
• We acknowledge within 72 hours and aim to respond substantively within one month, in line with our GDPR data-subject SLA.
• Please include the page URL, the assistive technology you use (screen reader name, OS, browser version), and a short description of the barrier.

6. Enforcement and complaint procedure

If we have not resolved your report to your satisfaction, you may escalate to the accessibility supervisory authority in your EU Member State. In Estonia, the competent authority is the Technical Regulatory Authority (Tarbijakaitse ja Tehnilise Järelevalve Amet — TTJA), ttja.ee.
