AI literacy is a legal duty
Article 4 of the EU AI Act has applied since February 2025. Since July 2026 it asks every organisation deploying AI to take measures that support its staff's AI literacy — not to guarantee a set level for each person. Regulators can ask what those measures were: who was trained, on what, and when.
