    Compose a Prompt

Bring everything together — your prompt, your context, your details — and copy the result.

What you'll build: A fully assembled prompt, ready to paste into any AI tool.

    ℹ️Before you start

You'll need at least one prompt and one context card. If you haven't created those yet, start with a prompt.

    Steps

    1

    Open the Composer

Click "Compose" in the sidebar, or press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + P.

    2

    Pick a prompt

Click "Select Document" and choose the prompt you want to work with.

    3

    Add context cards

Click "Add Card" and select one or more. You can drag to reorder — the order affects how the AI reads them.

    4

    Fill in the placeholders

You{"'"}ll see all the placeholders you added earlier. Type in the details for each one.

    5

    Check the length

The length indicator shows whether your prompt fits within the AI model{"'"}s limits. Green means you{"'"}re good.

    6

    Copy your prompt

Click "Copy Prompt" — everything gets assembled and copied to your clipboard.

    Nice work!

Your first composed prompt is ready to use. Paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, or whichever AI tool you prefer. The best part? You can come back and recompose it with different details anytime.
