Think of a Persona as casting a character. You're telling the AI who to be — its role, how it communicates, what it knows about, and what it should or shouldn't do. It's like giving your AI colleague a job description.
Find the persona library under Role / AI Personas in the sidebar.
What you'll see
Name & role
Give it a clear role, like "Senior Code Reviewer" or "Sales Coach."
Expertise
What does this persona know about? Define its areas of knowledge.
Tone
How should it communicate? Direct, friendly, formal, encouraging?
Behavior rules
What should it always do? What should it never do? Plus the full instructions that tell the AI exactly how to behave.
How to use it
Create a persona
Go to AI Personas → New Persona. Give your AI sparring partner a name and role.
Define expertise and tone
Fill in what the persona knows about and how it should communicate. Be specific — "friendly but concise" works better than just "professional."
Use it in the Composer
Attach the persona to any prompt in the Composer, just like a regular card. The AI will take on that role.
Duplicate and customize
Found a persona you like? Clone it and tweak it for a different situation — a "Sales Coach" can become a "Negotiation Advisor" in minutes.
Good to know
Create separate personas for different tasks — "Code Reviewer," "Technical Writer," "Debugging Assistant" — rather than one generic persona that tries to do everything.
