    Document Editor

Your prompts live here. Write, organize, and build on them over time.

This is where you write and manage your prompts. You can format your text with headings, lists, and bold — add placeholders for the parts that change each time — and link prompts to each other so nothing gets lost.

    ℹ️Where to find it

Click My Prompts in the left sidebar.

    What you'll see

    The writing area

The main panel is your editor. Just start typing — use headings, lists, bold, and other formatting to keep things organized.

    Your prompt list

All your prompts on the left. Organize them into folders, pin your favorites to the top, and search by title or content.

    Document types

When you create a new document, you'll pick a type:

    • Prompt — A reusable prompt with placeholders for the parts that change
    • Note — Free-form notes and reference material
    • Template — A starting point you can reuse for common prompt patterns

    How to use it

    1

    Create a document

Click "New Document", pick a type, and start writing.

    2

    Add placeholders

Type {{client_name}} or {{topic}} where you want details to change each time. You'll fill these in later in the Composer.

    3

    Link to another prompt

Type [[Prompt Name]] to create a connection to another document. Great for building on related ideas.

    4

    Pin a document

Right-click a document and select "Pin" to keep it at the top of your list.

    5

    Organize with folders

Drag documents into folders, or use the "Move to folder" option.

    Good to know

    💡Set default values for placeholders

You can give a placeholder a default value — like {{focus:general quality}}. If you don't fill it in later, the default is used automatically.

💡Your changes are saved as versions

Every time you save, Keypra keeps a version. You can go back to any earlier version by clicking the clock icon in the toolbar.
